Website updates
After a long weekend it's my first day back, but also the last week of working for Lalage Beaumont. It has gone so fast, but I am elated with the opportunities I have been given.
Moving on, this morning I was asked to update the website via Shopify. This was to upload the images of the bags I took photos of last week, both views with and without attachments for all three bags. As a group last week there was a discussion as to what we should name each colour, the decisions were made with Bluebell, Topaz and Sage.
After only having been briefly shown how to do these things on Shopify once, the PA and I had to refer to our notes. We had to go onto items and search for a Manon Mignon bag and duplicate it without images. Then go through and edit the title to the new colour, same with the information/description box.
As the new product was duplicated, it carries the same URL. This was simple to change, but edit out the colour and inset the new one. Upload the two images and save - the product is now live.
Due to the brand shipping all over the world, they offer tax free on most items. There is a separate section on the website for this. Like what was done with the three bags above, the same needed to be done, but duplicating a Manon Mignon tax free bag.
As each bag was uploaded, I added the quantity in stock to make it available to order.
