Sleeve patterns

What a challenge, today a customer came in asking to have her dress altered. She requested 3/4 sleeves instead of the short sleeves she already had. The fabric the dress has been made out of is the same as above. Unfortunately nobody was sure if they have enough left at the factory or Beauchamp place.  Searching Beauchamp place, I sound the small amount you can see in the picture, worrying there was not going to be enough we contacted the factory hoping they would have some. As expected they did not. So back to see if we can get these sleeve patterns to fit the correct way with the grain on this small piece of fabric left over. Overall we need to cut 2 of each, after a few attempts at placing and rearranging, Lalage and I managed to find a way it will fit correctly. Which was good news for the company and customer, they get the alteration in and the lady gets the sleeves she wants. Now it is to contact her and see if she wants to go ahead.
